Red Velvet Flag Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) red velvet cake mix, plus ingredients listed on box
- 1 container (16 oz) cream cheese frosting
- 1 pint blueberries
Directions
- Prepare the cake mix according to package directions.
- Using a medium scoop, distribute batter evenly into the wells of a brownie pan.
- Bake according to package directions. Remove from oven and allow cakes to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice each cake in half horizontally.
- Pipe cream cheese frosting onto the bottom half using a decorating tool with a star tip.
- Place the top half of the cake over the frosting.
- Pipe additional frosting on top to create “stripes,” then add blueberries to resemble “stars.”
