Ian Barnett, RN

Hey there — I’m Ian Barnett, and I’m glad you found your way here.

I’ve lived a few different chapters, and somehow they’ve all come back to the same thing: helping people feel less overwhelmed and more confident in everyday life.

A Few Chapters, One Thread

The Pampered Chef Years

I started selling Pampered Chef in 1995 — and I didn’t stop for 20 years. I loved it. The products, the parties, the relationships. There’s something genuinely satisfying about helping someone fall in love with their kitchen, and I was good at it. But then another calling came along: nursing.

Critical Care Nursing

I went back to school, earned my RN, and spent years working in critical care. It was demanding, meaningful work. I gave everything I had to my patients. That clinical training changed how I think about everything — including products. In nursing, you don’t take claims at face value. You look at the evidence. You ask what’s actually safe, effective, and worth recommending to a real person with a real life. That habit never left me.

Coming Full Circle

Now I’m retired from the bedside, spending time caring for my 89-year-old mom, and I’ve come full circle back to Pampered Chef. Honestly? I missed it. The products. The friendships. The joy of helping someone simplify their kitchen. And I’ve added something new.

While I was paying close attention to health — my patients’ and my own — I noticed my hair thinning and falling out. As a nurse, I did what I always do: I researched. I tried program after program. Then I found Monat’s IR Clinical System. Within three weeks, the hair that had filled my brush for years simply stopped falling. I became a Monat representative because I believe in the products — full stop.
